Exterior
Designed in collaboration with the prestigious Pininfarina, the VinFast VF 8 showcases a sleek and modern exterior that optimizes aerodynamics, reducing energy consumption while maintaining unique aesthetic appeal. The inclusion of sporty and dynamic lines from the sedan lineup adds a contemporary touch to the SUV models, creating a sense of modernity and sophistication.
The VF 8’s dimensions rival the BMW X3, Volkswagen ID.4, and Kia EV6. With a length of 4,750 mm and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, the VF 8’s proportions place it strategically in the D-segment. It is shorter than the Lux SA by 190 mm, yet boasts a slightly longer wheelbase by 17 mm. In comparison to the Hyundai Santa Fe, the VF 8 is shorter by 20 mm overall but features a longer wheelbase of 185 mm.
With a width of 1,891 mm and a height of 1,676 mm, coupled with a weight of 1,805 kg, the VF 8 ensures a spacious and comfortable interior for passengers. The independent front suspension, dual-wishbone and independent rear suspension, multi-link, offer stability in cornering and superior performance across various terrains. The VF 8 also features disc brakes on all wheels, enhancing safety and precision.
Interior
The VF 8’s interior reflects its commitment to both luxury and technology. Crafted with premium leather materials, the minimalist design is complemented by a large 15.6-inch touchscreen central display. The VF 8’s battery package ensures a remarkable driving range of up to 420 km (Eco variant) and 400 km (Plus variant) on a full charge. Utilizing a standard 11 kW charger, a full charge requires approximately 8 hours, while fast-charging stations offer a 10% to 70% charge in just 24 minutes.
The VF 8’s price starts from 1.094 billion VND (without battery) or 1.478 billion VND (with battery). The battery package is priced at 384 million VND. VinFast provides a comprehensive 10-year warranty for both the vehicle and battery.
